For more than 20 years, Spike Studio has helped young people across metro Atlanta discover creative career pathways through architecture, engineering, construction, and design. This summer, the organization's longstanding partnership with Georgia Tech's College of Design continues by welcoming middle and high school students to campus for hands-on learning experiences that introduce them to the built environment and the possibilities of higher education.

Hosted at Georgia Tech, the Summer Academy connects students with faculty, mentors, and industry professionals while giving them opportunities to sketch ideas, build models, collaborate on projects, and explore careers they may not have previously considered.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to design education and increasing opportunities for students from historically underrepresented communities. Beyond technical skills, the program helps participants build confidence, develop leadership abilities, and envision future careers in creative and design-focused fields.

By exposing students to architecture, engineering, construction management, and related disciplines in a university setting, Spike Studio and Georgia Tech continue to create meaningful pathways that inspire the next generation of designers, innovators, and problem-solvers.
