Held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 7:00–9:00 PM at the Ferst Center for the Arts, the Guthman Musical Instrument Competition Concert is the culminating public performance of Georgia Tech’s annual Guthman Musical Instrument Competition. Finalists from around the world present newly designed instruments that explore new possibilities in musicality, technology, and artistic expression.

Widely recognized by national and international media for spotlighting transformative musical innovation, the competition brings together inventors and local Atlanta musicians for a dynamic live performance. Audience members will experience firsthand how emerging technologies and creative design are shaping the next generation of music-making.
