AN ARTS PLAZA POP-UP EVENT

At this event, you will create flowers that will be added to the all-yarn mural being created by artist London Kaye. The mural will be all handmade and inspired by the beautiful mix of left brain and right minds at the Georgia Tech campus. Flower patterns and in-person instruction will be provided in a 2 hour workshop to give participants the tools they need to add their own flowers and personality to the art.

Crocheting is a skill that keeps your mind focused and allows you to process one thought at a time. By teaching participants this hand craft, they will be able to continue to develop this skill further and take advantage of all the positive mental health benefits that come with it.
