Kinnik Sky Entertainment

Kinnik (Ken-NEEK) Sky is a writer, producer, director, actress and acting coach. She is a former finalist on American Idol and a veteran stage performer who has done countless stage plays over the last 20 years. Award-winning directors and producers, Tyler Perry, Robert Townsend and Kenny Leon have each cast Kinnik in their respective projects.
 

In 2010, Kinnik launched her production company, Dazzal Mi (Dazzle Me) Entertainment which is now Kinnik Sky Entertainment. With 4 productions, Kinnik Sky Entertainment has won 7 NAACP Theatre Awards of 11 Nominations. Most notable, Kinnik’s win for Best Female Lead Actress and nomination for Best Playwright. Under her production company, she has created multiple web series in addition to her stage productions which have also been awarded.


As Founder of The Sky Academy, a non-profit organization, Kinnik's vision is to introduce at risk youth to off camera career opportunities in the entertainment business. Most recently, she was the On Set Acting Coach for ABC's comedy, Mixed-ish Season 1 and 2, as well as Disney’s remake of the hit movie, Cheaper By The Dozen, starring Gabrielle Union and Zach Braff. She was only the 2nd ever black instructor for the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute, which boasts alumni Angelina Jolie, Alec Baldwin, Shandra Wilson, Lady Gaga And Matt Dilon. When she is not on set, Kinnik is the private acting coach for her company, Stars and Sky Private Coaching.

Kinnik Sky Entertainment’s, short film PAWN premiered at the prestigious BronzeLens festival in Atlanta Georgia & her inaugural most awarded stage production, Sunday Mourning is in pre-production to be the company’s first feature film. 

Kinnik lives by the motto: Not even the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.
