Event Details

Africanité: The quality of being African or having African Origins. Focusing on the diversity of the African continent and its diaspora, this year’s Taste of Africa is meant to bring Africans together in celebration. From the Maghreb to the Sahel, from the Horn to the Great Lakes, the Cape to the Gulf, this year’s show is a celebration of Africa in its entirety.

The event begins at 4 p.m. with a variety of foods from all over Africa, the showcase begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Ferst Center for the Arts, with an exciting mix of fashion, dance, and music from all over Africa.

This is a general admission event, please arrive early for the best seat selection.
