When Strings Connect: An Interactive Workshop with Kaki King

Join renowned guitarist and composer Kaki King in a one-of-a-kind community experiment.

Participants should bring a guitar (acoustic, or electric/bass with a small amp) and a guitar stand. We will tune each guitar to a complementary tuning and create a series of musical patterns and movements that in turn create a beautifully improvised piece for guitar orchestra. King has been working to develop a set of tunings, motions, and permutations that can be applied to any group of guitars and guitarists at any size and skill level. Please join her in this unique opportunity to further expand this idea.

**Individuals looking to participate in the experiment must bring their own guitar or bass. If playing electric, please bring your own amp.**

Everyone is welcome to observe the experiment.
