Hear the most innovative and creative new instruments in the world at the Guthman Musical Instrument Competition Concert.
Saturday, March 7, 7 p.m.
Ferst Center for the Arts

More than 100 applicants from 20 countries applied to the competition this year, and we're presenting the ten best. Our Competition finalists will put on an out-of-this-world show as they present their inventions at the Concert. They'll explain why and how they created their instruments, and demonstrate its potential through some very unique performances. The Concert is appropriate -- and engaging --for all ages.

The 2020 competition will pair each finalist with a skilled musician from the Atlanta area. The musicians will practice and learn the instrument the day of the concert, and perform for the audience to show just how accessible and innovative each creation is. At the end of the evening, the judges will announce the Competition winners and the audience will vote for their favorites.
