The Arts Plaza in front of the Ferst Center for the Arts will be filled with creativity in April, 2022. The entire campus community is encouraged to drop by to sit and enjoy the lights and sights, or to take part in one of the many activities. You can crochet a flower, paint a mural, make music with your heartbeat or dance your heart out!

Yarn Bombing Installation with London Kaye
Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
London Kaye will create a 12-foot mural made entirely of yarn, handmade and inspired by the beautiful mix of left brain and right minds at the Georgia Tech campus.

Empathy for Two
Monday, April 11, 5-7 p.m.
Take a seat at Empathy For Two and experience an increase in empathy when two hearts unite. Created by graduate student Tim Min and Thiago Roque.

Mural Painting with ARTiculate ATL and SMILE
Wednesday and Friday, April 14 and 15, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
SMILE, the Georgia Tech student organization dedicated to building a happier campus community, will lead you in a painting party to fill in the mural in celebration of the Tech student body, created by the artists of ARTiculate ATL.

Jazz on the Plaza

An afternoon of live jazz and fun from student bands with the GT Music Network.

Commemorate "Finals Eve" with a photo op with the Ramblin' Reck.

Silent Disco
Wednesday, April 27, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Celebrate the end of spring semester with a (quiet) dance party. There will be six different playlists, ranging from dance hall to techno, so get on the dance floor and enjoy! RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
