This year’s Taste of Africa, “Crossing the Generations,” aims to shed a light on how people of African descent can reconnect to their roots, and highlight available tools to empower those in the Diaspora and in Africa. The event includes a dinner featuring delicious dishes from each region of the continent, accompanied by a show filled with fashion, art, poetry, dancing, and singing. By Crossing the Generations, we celebrate our Motherland, the richest continent in the world, Africa.
Taste of Africa (TOA) is a gala filled with African treasures in the form of food, art, comedy, dance, and much more. The show presents the audience with an opportunity to fully interact with the multitude of African cultures. This year's TOA aims to bridge the gap between Africans on the continent and in the diaspora, exploring this generational divide and fostering discussion on the cultural, social, economic, and political differences that contribute to this divide.
